    Tilapia Fritter
    Ingredients
    • 500g tilapia fillets (or any white fish)
    • 1 medium onion, chopped
    • 2 garlic cloves, minced
    • 1/2 cup chopped parsley or cilantro
    • 2 eggs
    • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (or as needed)
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • Juice of 1 lemon
    • Oil for frying
    Preparation method
    1. 1
Cook the Tilapia: Start by boiling the tilapia fillets in hot water until fully cooked. Drain and shred the fish.
    2. 2
Sauté the Seasonings: In a pan, heat a little oil and sauté the onion and garlic until golden and fragrant.
    3. 3
Mix: In a large bowl, combine the shredded fish, sautéed onion and garlic, chopped parsley or cilantro, eggs, and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper. Gradually add the flour until the mixture is firm enough to shape.
    4. 4
Shape the Fritters: Use your hands to shape the mixture into small fritters or croquettes.
    5. 5
Fry: Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the fritters over medium heat until golden and crispy on both sides. Remove and place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
    6. 6
Serve: Serve the fritters hot with tartar sauce, mayonnaise, or your preferred dipping sauce.
